Day 12

Not Taking Herself Seriously All the Time

One thing I can count on when it comes to Ellen is she knows how to cut loose. She is really fun to goof off with. Sometimes we get on these tangents and random conversations of goofiness. I love that she's not afraid to look or act silly. She knows exactly how to act to make me laugh. I always try to play along but I'm not as quick as she is, so I end up looking like a fool. I mean this picture really defines her. Some people take themselves too seriously sometimes and end up being more stressed, but not Ellen. She knows you can't be serious all the time, and that makes another thing I love about her.

Day 11

Her Support

I'm writing this one pretty late due to carving our pumpkin and a late night visit to Wal-Mart after I got off work, but nothing will stop me. One more thing I love about Ellen is her support. She supports any artistic thing I try to accomplish (picture), anything to do with my future career, and even down to the homework I get. She is a very supportive person. Anytime there is something I need to accomplish I know she will be write there to motivate me in many ways. She is also very supportive about my appearance. I'm an obese person, but she always says the right things to lift my spirits and feel better about myself. It is the best thing not having to worry about getting judged for doing something and always having that support person there for you. She really keeps me going. I probably wouldn't get out of bed, if it wasn't for her. I love her very much for this. She's the best wife a man could ask for in life.

Day 10

Her Warmth

Today I realized the one word that describes Ellen better than any other word. This word has been there the entire time we've dated, but I just never realized it. Ellen has asked me many times how I would describe her and I always drew a blank because I didn't know how to describe perfection. I'm very bad with words. I never thought I could express the way I see her in my heart. Seriously though I looked at Ellen ten minutes ago and realized the word "warm". That is the perfect word for her because it describes many things about her. Her personality is warm. When she speaks to me my heart just fills up and I have this feeling of love wash over me. She is such a loving, caring person. Her face is warm. I don't mean her face looks hot. I mean when I see her face it just emits this warmth that make you happy and feel welcomed with those caring eyes. Then finally her body is warm. In my opinion there is nothing better than cuddling with Ellen. When I cuddle with her I feel so safe and warm on the inside like this is just right, like there isn't a better place to be, anywhere.

Day 9

Her wanting to do things with me

This is one reason why I think Ellen is the greatest person ever to walk this earth. She always puts others first. She loves doing things with me. Whether it is a date or a family outing. A lot of the time she goes along with what I want to do. Therefore she puts others first. It's always what I want to do. I am going to get better about this. This is going to change. In the picture below we are at the renaissance fair. She isn't a fan of it, but she goes because I like going. I actually started the next day about being better about it because I wasn't a fan of going to McGee Farm, but I went and had a blast. The reason why Ellen does things I want to do is because she just loves spending time with me. This is another reason why she is the love of my life. Tonight we are carving our pumpkins, and I'm super excited about just doing a little project with her. We always have fun with these things. It's easy to have fun with someone you love so dearly. Love you, beautiful.

Day 8

Her Love for Animals
I myself am an animal lover. It is very relieving to be with someone that has the same passion about animals. I guess it is our parental instincts that we can just look at a being and love it and want to protect it.  We are constantly talking about getting pets for Lucy. There really isn't any animal we don't want. We'll probably end up with a farm full of animals. I always thought to myself in life you can really tell a lot about a person by how they view animals. Ellen really cares about animals. That shows me she is a really caring person about everything, very easily passionate about things.  This is why this is one more thing I adore about Ellen.

Day 7

Motherly Love

This is one thing I really love about Ellen, her love for our family. She loves Lucy and me more than anything in this world.  Her whole life is us. She is completely happy with just spending time with us. Lucy and I are the same way about her.  I also love that she wants our family to grow. The quint essential tv family. There is no telling where our life will take us. I will look back at this time remembering the unknown that faced me. It is exciting. Ellen really takes care of me and Lucy. More than just physically, but emotionally also. There is no telling how many times I have came home angry or upset about work and she just always knows what to say to make me feel better. She really knows me.

Well it has been a week officially. I didn't think it would be this easy to find things I love about Ellen, but it has been a sinch. I really enjoy writing about her. It reminds me of everything amazing about her.

Day 6

McGee Farm

Yesterday we traveled close to Zip City to McGee Farm to pick out our pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern and to generally spend time with the family.  When Ellen told me about this farm I was only expecting a pumpkin patch and not much else, but to be free it was very fun.  There was a kitchen where I got a fried apple pie then Ellen and my mom got carrot cake, all very good.  There was also a corn maze, hay ride, goats to pet, chickens to feed, and pumpkin painting. This is definitely a great place to take the family. Everything is really reasonably priced. We got two pumpkins that weighed 32lbs for about $11. This is going to be our family tradition to travel here every year to pick out our pumpkin. Lucy seemed to have a fun time, but got tuckered out before we took the second picture. Days like this really show you how important family is. I can't wait to carve our pumpkins together. I'll definitely post pictures of the jack-o-lanterns the night of carving them. Keep your eye out for them.

Day 5

Today I feel like I need to talk about something important. The girls and I did have a family day, but I feel this needs to be said. I will post about our great day at McGee Farm tomorrow, but for today I'm going to write about something else I love about Ellen, her body. Her body is the most beautifully sculpted works of art. I would not change a single thing about it. Ellen believes that she needs to look like all these skinny bitches, but I don't think so. This society has gotten to the point where unless you are sickly skinny then you are not attractive. Women, including Ellen, take this to heart. They only think this about their selves though, at least Ellen does because of her kind spirit, but that is for another day. Ellen thinks that she is nothing but a "tub of lard" and she "looks like Jabba the Hut", but I don't see that. I see the very beautiful mother of my child. I see a body that I could kiss every inch of. I see the most beautiful body she has ever had. I see perfection. If only she saw her body as I see it, she was have the confidence I think she deserves. I love you, Ellen and every part of you!

Day 4

I'm posting pretty late today. The reason for that is my beautiful wife and I have had a very busy day. I started off the day by waking up next to one of the most beautiful women, Ellen. We then proceeded to go get Lucy's 3 month pictures made (those will be coming soon) by Amelia Wilson. After that we checked out the Renaissance Fair at Handy park in Florence, AL. We also went to Kirkland's where my dad bought us a new floor mat with the letter C for our last name. The one picture is of me and my beautiful wife at the fair. The other is of Lucy getting ready to have her picture made. We have had a great eventful day. There is nothing better than spending the entire day with my girls.

Day 3

Her Beauty
For day 3 I decided to write about Ellen's beauty. She is one of the two most beautiful women in my life, Lucy, my daughter, being the other.  I racked my brain trying figure out how to describe perfection, so I did some searching and I found a sonnet that speaks my mind completely about Ellen's beauty.  I've never been a man of words, but I know when I read something like this I couldn't say it any better.

Beauty Of Her Face by Dante Alighieri

For certain he hath seen all perfectness
Who among other ladies hath seen mine:
They that go with her humbly should combine
To thank their God for such peculiar grace.
So perfect is the beauty of her face
That is begets in no wise any sigh
Of envy, but draws round her a clear line
Of love, and blessed faith, and gentleness.
Merely the sight of her makes all things bow:
Not she herself alone is holier
Than all; but hers, through her, are raised above.
From all her acts such lovely graces flow
That truly one may never think of her
Without a passion of exceeding love.

Day 2

Her Smile
Today is day 2 and so I list another thing about Ellen I love, her smile.  Her smile still gives me butterflies just like the first time I saw it. There is nothing better than me being the cause of that smile. Knowing that I gave her enough joy to show it in a smile is great! I love that perfect smile, all of her smiles. Small ones, big ones, partial laughing ones, and the shy ones. I love them all equally.  It's amazing how a simple show of emotion that we all do almost everyday can fill my heart and make me love her even more.  She probably doesn't know how much her smile means to me, but she does now.

Introduction

This is me and Ellen. I believe this was when we were closest. So much love and so much passion.  This was taken on Rachel's, her friend we were staying with, patio of her apartment.  On October 9, 2011 we have been together for 2 and a half years. October 1, 2011 we have been married for 6 months. We have a wonderful 3 month daughter together named Lucy. I love Ellen more than anything in this world.  I would go to the end of the universe for her.  I'm creating this blog because we are drifting apart and it is my fault.  Everyday I will post something I love about Ellen or things we've done together to remind me of the love I have for her and to help me be the husband I need and want to be. So I begin. This is Day 1. The main thing I love about my soulmate, Ellen, is her sense of humor. She is literally the funniest person I know. She knows how and when to make me laugh at my worst times. She can bring a smile to even the saddest person just by her actions. I could go on forever about just this one thing, but then I would go into other things and get ahead of myself. We don't want that to happen. So stay tuned for tomorrows post.
