Not Awkward
I didn't have time to post a blog yesterday, so I've got to make this one extra special. One thing I love about our relationship is our inside jokes. "Not awkward" started early in our relationship. Actually our first time we hung out is when we came up with it. We promised each other if we started a relationship that no matter what we wouldn't have those awkward moments, and we would remind each other by saying "not awkward". Little things like that is what I love about being with Ellen. Our relationship is special and no other relationship we have with friends or family comes close to the closeness and bond we carry with each other. I feel like I've known Ellen my whole life even though we've only been together for 2 and a half years. Every time I even hear the word awkward I think of my love, how there's no other like her, and how amazingly lucky I am to have our relationship. Not awkward, Ellen ;)
